Kick It With Ken is a Mental Health Awareness Month mini-series spotlighting the stories, mindset, and experiences shaping the next generation of athletes. Inspired by vintage sports campaigns and reimagined through a Gen Z lens, Popular Demand created a bold visual identity built to move seamlessly across social, video, and digital platforms.

Popular Demand was tasked with creating a visual identity for Kick It With Ken that felt culturally relevant, and engaging. The goal was to build a brand world that balanced sport, storytelling, and mental health without feeling overly clinical or corporate.The identity needed to feel energetic and contemporary while remaining authentic to the conversations at the centre of the series.
Drawing inspiration from vintage sports campaigns, editorial photography, and broadcast graphics, we developed a visual system rooted in texture, movement, and atmosphere. Grain-heavy textures, motion blur, layered typography, and cinematic imagery helped shape a brand world designed to feel immersive across every touchpoint.The final system was applied across social content, motion graphics, campaign visuals, and digital assets to create a cohesive experience that felt both nostalgic and modern.
Kick It With Ken launched with a distinctive visual identity that successfully blended sport, storytelling, and culture into a cohesive digital experience. The project established a recognisable brand presence across social and video platforms while helping position the series as a contemporary and emotionally driven conversation around mental health in sport.
